What's New: The Improvements We're Shipping to Mind Phone 2 Pro

If you caught our founder's update on the timeline →, you know the last few weeks have been anything but quiet. Here's a look at some of the updates we're shipping out to Beta users right now based on feedback so far and how the final product is being pushed forward.

✅ Next update

Verizon voice notes & clear picture messages

Voice notes now send and play properly on Verizon, and picture messages come through crisp instead of compressed into mush. Big thanks to ars18 — JTech for surfacing this one and helping us nail down the fix.

Under-keyboard light

The keyboard backlight now works the way it always should have — so typing in the dark is finally a non-issue.

Adjustable keyboard size at setup

You can now size the keyboard to your hands right from the phone during setup. No fiddling later, no compromise.

Clear background in the quick panel

The quick-settings panel got a cleaner, clearer look — less clutter, easier to read at a glance.

No more Google News push notifications

We pulled those uninvited Google News alerts. One less interruption competing for your attention.

Gemini blocked system-wide

Gemini is now disabled across the entire system — not tucked into a corner, gone everywhere.

System-wide video playback blocked

Video playback stays blocked across the whole device, keeping the experience exactly in line with what you signed up for.

🔜 Coming soon

We're not done — far from it. Here's what's actively in the works:

  • New app store — so we can push Google app updates like Android Auto straight to your phone

  • New launcher — with instant dialer search, so calling someone is as fast as it should be

  • Call recorder — record calls right from the dialer

  • Visual voicemail — read your voicemails instead of dialing in

  • USB file transfer — move files to and from a computer over USB

  • Parental controls — currently in active development

That's the update for now. We'll keep shipping, and we'll keep posting here every time something new lands. Thanks for being part of this — and for holding us to a high bar.

Straight Talk From Our Founder: The Delay, the Fix, and What's Next

We promised to keep you in the loop, so here's the honest version — no spin.

What happened

Your Mind Phone 2 Pro is running a little behind, and the reason comes down to one word: batteries. During a routine review, some battery concerns were flagged, and out of caution the factory paused on placing the production order until they were fully understood. By the time that decision made its way back to us, it had already moved the timeline. We'd have loved to catch it sooner — but we'd rather give you the real story than a polished one.

The good news

The concerns have, for the most part, been resolved through software optimizations — the kind of tuning that makes the battery smarter and the phone safer without giving up anything you were promised. With that behind us, we've put our foot back on the gas to claw back as much of the lost time as we can.

Where things stand

  • Production: on track to wrap up by the end of June

  • Shipping: orders begin going out early July

We'll keep this page current if anything shifts — in either direction.

If you can't wait

We completely understand if the timing doesn't work for you. If you need a phone in hand right now, you're always welcome to request a refund — no hard feelings, no hoops.

One honest heads-up: the launch price is going up to $394.99. If you're already in line, you're locked in at what you paid — this only affects new orders.

We haven't been sitting still

This delay hasn't been dead time. Over the last few weeks we've shipped a real wave of software improvements — fixes and features that make the phone meaningfully better than it was a month ago. We're also building out a new section of the site so you can always see the latest timeline and exactly what's changed.

A couple of things we can help with

  • Heading away for the summer? Tell us and we'll update your shipping address so your phone meets you wherever you are.

  • Stuck without a working phone? Reach out — we can set you up with a loaner device until yours arrives.

Thank you

We don't take your patience — or your trust — for granted. Every one of you chose to wait for something better, and that means everything to us. We're heads-down making sure the phone you finally unbox is one you're genuinely glad you waited for.

Phone 2 Pro pre-orders are open.

Phone 2 Pro pre-orders are open.
Building a kosher flagship that doesn't ask you to compromise has been our north star for three years. With the Phone 2 Pro, we're finally there — a phone that feels like a true flagship in your hand, performs like one every day, and holds to the kosher standard without exception.

As of today, pre-orders are open in the continental US. You can reserve yours at the launch price of $342 — 10% off our retail — and pick up a free silicone case in the color of your choice. Shipping is expected to begin in May 2026.

What's new in the Phone 2 Pro.

This isn't a refresh. The Phone 2 Pro is a clean-sheet design built around the way people actually use a kosher phone — calls, messages, maps, and a curated set of essentials — but with the kind of performance headroom you normally only get on an unrestricted flagship.

  • Helio G99 chipset paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM for snappy, sustained performance.
  • 48MP main camera, 12MP secondary, and 13MP front — all tuned for real-world shots.
  • Qi wireless charging built in, plus 9V/2A fast wired charging.
  • Sealed against dust and splashes, with a fingerprint unlock that actually works the first time.
  • Android 15, curated down to a small, signed set of apps. No browser. No third-party installs.

The kosher promise, refined.

The Phone 2 Pro is certified by L'Maaseh, with filtering and safeguards baked into the device from silicon to software. These aren't bolted-on restrictions that can be removed — they're part of how the phone was built, tested, and signed from day one.

We wanted a phone you could give your kids, hand to your parents, and keep on your nightstand with the same confidence. That meant rethinking the whole stack.

Pre-order details.

Here's how it works:

  1. Reserve your Phone 2 Pro for $342. Your card is charged at checkout.
  2. Pick a free silicone case — obsidian, ash, blush, or signal blue.
  3. We ship in the order pre-orders were received, starting May 2026.
  4. You can cancel anytime before your order ships for a full refund.

Every Phone 2 Pro ships with our 18-month warranty, covering manufacturer defects and damage — part of our commitment to standing behind the hardware.
